Let’s Prevent Identity Theft

I didn’t really think I would be a victim of fraud but I had a colleague who was and he taught me some ways on how to prevent identity theft. Having my identity stolen is a really scary thought. Imagine having your name and information being used by someone else. Imagine someone stealing your life and pretending to be you. Of course, if someone is able to steal your identity, they would also be able to use your money, including your credit cards. And they would be able to take out loans in your name as well. It gives me the chills just thinking of it. And I’m not too sure about this but I assume that getting your identity back would not be too easy. I think I’ll look up the process on how to do that. I mean, better safe than sorry right? Being informed is always a great thing.
